about

"Lament for an abandoned oasis opened a world that was entirely covered in one giant market, full of Aliens, constantly buying and selling, Above the Markets were millions of floating markets,on every corner were different practicing religions, filling the space with their sounds of prayers which collectively becomes your wonderful music.
all crimes, all acts of goodness, everything was a network and a body of a continuous life like A giant Ant colony.
i zoom out and I look at this Alien force from the clouds and the whole thing becomes a giant body, laying down, sleeping and it's bed was the Planet."

inspiration blues for that muse i can't lose!
i tell her what to choose but she just be amused
i think her confused but she dances on bemused
on two feet
sometimes floating
gypsy tipsy whirling
flying brown hair curling
big eyes dripping
careful dont be slipping!
and twos
and ones
both have their
funs. some times
notimes
all times
outta time....
end to beginning
far fetched, forsaken/beloved
recklessly reborn
mystic telegraph muse

The journey begins here with quasi/pseudo-sample based music, then heavily tweaked, reworked and proceeded. Sources include traditional Jewish & Arab music as well as Free Jazz.
I've striven the intricate delay+reverb processors to have and breath a life of their own, as if they were instruments, part of the ensemble, improvising on their own free will.
This is the only release of its kind I will have and keep herein as far as my early catalog is concerned.
Just to give a sense where it had all started and originated from...

"With album art reminiscent of smoke rising from some mysterious cosmic censer, this music does indeed rise like the finest incense into the ether of light and esoteric ambient filled with mysterious modes of voice."

"Comprised of two lengthy tracks, and from what I can make out uses acoustic guitar, flute, sax, violin, tablas, drums and female voice. Essentially this is a fusion of free jazz and traditional Arab music. It also has many of the strengths and the weaknesses of improvised music. There are passages of real beauty, excitement and unpredictability, but also passages where everyone seems to be essentially fannying about waiting for someone else to set a direction.
My favourite parts include the section about six minutes into the first track where the intricate hand drum patterns burst into a thrilling martial clatter of percussion. The vocals on “Lament for an Abandoned Oasis” are particularly beautiful too. The album isn’t about instant gratification. It rewards patience and repeated listens, and is well worth anyone’s time. Best of all it can be downloaded for free."

"I couldn't love this more. Wondrous, beautiful, sensuous music for moving, dancing, candlelight, mystery. spacious unfolding...."

Channeling
One

The candle flame dances, emblazing the darkness, a fat flame

Dance dancers, and all the musicians, lovers of sound waves caressing from within and without

Join

In a song that is sacred in its presence

Now

Now.

Charming the snake, rising red out of its wicker basket, lifting its weighted smooth body through the smoke that curls upward, ever spiraling ceilingward

Tell us your story again

Wanderer

Gypsy

Restless jew

Caresser of prayer mats

Coolest of musician cats

Holy ones among you, begin to twirl

And whirling

Enter your dance

Being one with you. Body and souls. Dancing all this night. This Long, long, luscious night.

This dream is on the edge of my mind

This song is on the tip of my lips

These bells are on the curves of my feet

This smile is on the verge of being

While all of me, all that lives, gives itself to the Dance

That’s the sound of my own feet in this other life

The one where I was. Was. Did be.
My body was not an enemy, but a dear and best friend. The kind you tell everything to. The kind that you show all your treasures, then wake beside, and share, a cup of morning tea.

What I lost. I lived. I breathed. I dreamed. I did

A body have

Breathing in it lung sacs full of freshness

The pulse of blood through my veins was rhythmic and fueled

By joy songs, 10.

Memory

Gratitude

Heart love

Body love

A farewell song

A new born, fresh song

Song of joy after tears

A rage songs that splits the heavens, cloaking howls in velvet burgundy beauty

A mother's song, a fathers song, a cradle song to sleep

A healing song that knits the broken cracked hearts with golden seams

The song within a song, a new song, newborn, fresh song. A memory song. A song to remember who

I was

When

I was

Full

Of being

Full of breath

Full of possibility

Full of hope

Full of blood, muscle, breath, life, cries, full of

Want, desire, need

Full of

Lack, despair, emptiness

Full ofsinews, nerves, heart, kidneys, souls

Soul on soul

On soul

Full

Of now. Of feet, stamping earth

Firelight

Night skys stretching forever space

Over me

As I was full

Full

Of

life
